National Open University of Nigeria – NOUN Admission Registration and Application Form For 2020

I would love to inform members of the general public, especially all candidates who wish to get admitted into the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) that the noun admission application and registration form for the 2020/2021 academic session are out.

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) management, is using this medium to invite all eligible and qualified candidates for application into NOUN.

Please take note that the sales of the NOUN Admission form for the 2020/2021 admission was recently announced by the management of the academic institution.

Applicants should take note that the National Open University of Nigeria Application form for the 2020 Academic session has fully commenced.

The National Open University of Nigeria, (NOUN) Management board has also announced through their Public Relations Officer, that they have commenced the sales of their application form for admission into the following programmes which are listed and mentioned below;

  • Certificate,
  • Diploma,
  • Undergraduate,
  • Post Graduate Diploma,
  • Masters Degree, and
  • Doctor of Philosophy Programmes-

The above programmes are available for admission into the National Open University for the 2020 Academic Session.

Guideline on How to Apply for Admission into National Open University of Nigeria

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO NOUN

  1. The first step is to visit the NOUN admission registration site at www.nouonline.net.
  2. On the site’s Home Page, go to the Menu Bar, and click on Apply for Admission
  3. You are required to either choose Undergraduate Programme or Postgraduate Programme. Other programmes are not available for new students yet.
  4. Next, you need to “Choose Faculty” (take note that this option can be found at the left-hand side of the screen)
  5. Select “Faculty”.
  6. Then proceed and fill the displayed form with your correct details.
  7. Click below to view the admission criteria.
  8. Next, you are required to click on the “Apply” button to proceed.
  9. Take note of the UNIQUE ID displayed on your screen.
  10. Click on the “Continue” button to continue with your registration.
  11. Proceed and select “Bank Branch” as your payment type.
  12. Click “Pay”.
  13. You will be shown an RRR number. Simply copy and take your RRR number to any bank branch for payment.

After Making a Successful Payment.

  1. Simply go through step 1 to 3 from the above guide.
  2. Then click on the “Continue After Payment”.
  3. Here, you will be required to type in your Unique ID, RRR number and Programme.
  4. Click “Proceed”
  5. Fill the form with the correct required details.  Note: all fields marked with a red star are compulsory.

After Filling the Registration Form.

  1. Click on the “Submit” button to submit the form.
  2. Next, you should proceed and Print Admission Letter.
  3. Visit the nearest NOUN study centre for screening.

How To Apply for 2020 NOUN Admission (E-APPLICATION)

All applying applicants should be informed that applying for admission into the National Open University of Nigeria is done online and offline, depending on your preference.

The admission is electronic and operates twenty-four (24) hours a day, that means, you can register for the National open University anytime and anywhere. But it is advisable to start your registration earlier.

Take note that you are required to fill the National Open University Admission Application form online.

How To Apply For Admission INTO NOUN

Guide 1: Before applying for registration and application, please take note that you are required to go to any of the following Approved Banks which will be later listed below.

Names of Banks and Account Number:

Visit any of the nearest banks mentioned below, and asked the customer support for the official account number of NOUN, before making payment.

First City Monument Bank Please go to the nearest FCMB bank and ask for the official account number of NOUN
Ecobank
Zenith Bank Check the nearest Zenith bank and ask the customer support for the account number of NOUN
Skye Bank

Important Notices

Please do take note, that if you paid money into any other account apart from those which are listed above, they won’t hold the school liable.

So ensure you are paying into the original noun account.

Guide 2: Below are the designated amount of money you are required to pay for the following NOUN application course/form registration:

Undergraduate Programmes N5,000 (Five thousand naira) only
Postgraduate (PGD and Masters) Programmes N7,500 (seven thousand five hundred naira) only.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programmes N10,000 (ten thousand naira) only.

Guide 3: Take note of the above programmes and their registration amount.

Then proceed and obtain a NOUN Teller which is specially designed for NOUN for the purpose of payment. (All candidates should please take note that when you get to any of the specific banks above, you are advised to request for the NOUN TELLER.

This is the only recommended medium of paying for NOUN Registration and NOUN course registration)

Guide 4: When you have paid for your program, proceed and collect the Application pin CODE which is equivalent to the amount paid for your form from the Bank.

Guide 5: Proceed and visit the web portal of the National Open University Nigeria at nouonline.net.

When it loads up on your browser’s screen, proceed and click on the link that reads: “Application Form”.

Guide 6: Ensure that you use your Application PIN to access your NOUN online application form, this is the best means of accessing your online registration form.

Guide 7: Please take note that you are required to complete the NOUN online admission application form by providing all the required data/information correctly. Providing false information will get your submission complicated and the school will turn down your admission request.

Guide 8: After you have successfully completed the Application form, you have access to re-open the registration form at any time and edit the form with the submitted details as often as the candidate’s wishes, before you can finally submit the form.

Guide 9: Please take note that if you have successfully filled the noun registration form, you may submit your form by clicking on the “Submit button” which is located at the end of the form on your browser’s screen.

Guide 10: When you click on Submit, you won’t be able to edit the details you previously entered on the site.

Guide 11: After clicking on the submit button, we’ll advise you to proceed and print out your provisional admission letter.

IMPORTANT NOTICE.

We would love to inform and notify all interested candidates who are applying for the 2020 National Open University of Nigeria admission, that they should demand and stand firm on paying only the stipulated cost and obtain official receipt at the point of payment, (in the bank).
